Charles and Emma Stribley, Neighbors of Edison and Ford Presentation
Charles and Emma Stribley moved to Kaukauna after Charles was hired by Oscar Thilmany. Discover what invention Charles incorporated into the paper machines at Thilmany’s We are familiar with their mansion built on Wisconsin Avenue, but their villa in Fort Myer’s was much larger and between two famous and wealthy families, Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. Their community involvement in both communities left an everlasting impression. They were well known trap shooters, and placed in most tournaments. When Charles will was probated, there were many beneficiaries. View slides of their villa.
