Food Preservation: Can I or Can’t I?
Learn the basics of food preservation at this workshop. The most current university based research information will be shared in the session. An overview will be provided on freezing, blanching, hot water bath process, atmospheric steam canning, food dehydration and pressure canning. We will also talk about equipment, jars, and where to find reliable food preservation information. Come with your questions!
The program will be taught by Karen Dickrell, Family Living Educator with the University of Wisconsin Extension in Outagamie County. Meets in the Conference Room.
