Planters for a Purpose

Planters for a Purpose is the annual winter fundraiser for the Kaukauna Public Library Foundation. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Library's Interactive Learning Garden.  Traditionally held as an in-person silent auction event, we are reimagining the 2020 Planters for a Purpose and bringing you a number of ways to support the library and this important fundraiser. Keep reading to learn all the ways you can support this event.


Book-Lover Shirts for all ages:

Purchase a shirt featuring one of these bookish styles.  Available in many designs, sizes and colors, it would be a great gift or outfit for family photo ops!


DIY Mandala Ornament Kits: 

mandalasampleornament.jpgPurchase a DIY Mandala Ornament kit to receive everything you need to create two unique handmade ornaments at home.  Learn more about what's included in the kit and more about Planters for a Purpose in this video.  Quantities are limited.  Purchase through the link provided below and then contact the library to schedule curbside pick up of your kit by December 4.  After you have ordered, you will also receive a link to a video tutorial to make the inspiration style ornament. 



Shop Planters for a Purpose Items and Arrangements

There are two ways to shop this year:

Starting on November 18, a "Planters for a Purpose - Buy Now" album will be available on our Facebook page.  The first person to comment SOLD on the photo will be the purchaser.  The library will be in contact to coordinate payment and curbside pickup.  Items in this album will range in price from $10-$25.

On December 3, join us on Facebook for a Live sale of our larger planters and arrangements.  Planters for a Purpose designers and volunteers will showcase their arrangements for you. Comment SOLD during the live broadcast to claim an item! Library staff will then work with you to arrange payment and pickup.  A preview album will be available on Facebook starting November 30.  Items in this sale will range in price from $30-$100.
