Help the Library’s Interactive Learning Garden grow!  Attend Planters for a Purpose on December 2 at 6:30pm. Join in other fundraisers now through December 4.

Planters for a Purpose is the annual winter fundraiser for the Kaukauna Public Library Foundation. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit the Library’s Interactive Learning Garden, ongoing programs and upkeep.  There are many ways to support this fundraiser in-person and online.

Planters for a Purpose Night is December 2 from 6:00-7:30. Enjoy activities for all ages, mingle with other library lovers, preview the sale items, then join us for a live sale at 6:30. The Library of Lights in the Learning Garden will also open that evening.

  • 6:00-6:30 – preview sale items
  • 6:00 – Winter Storytime in the library
  • 6:00-7:30 – Winter Crafts in the youth department
  • 6:30 – Planters for a Purpose Live Sale. Planters designers and volunteers will show off their creations.  We’re holding a live auction! Learn the starting bid and then be the highest final bidder to win the item. Take home your purchase the same night!
  • 5:30-9:00 – Library of Lights open for viewing

Starting on November 22, visit the Library during regular open hours to shop our “Buy Now” winter décor items.  Priced $10-$35, we invite you to shop and take home these smaller items the same day.

Purchase a holiday Take & Make Craft Kit, packaged for gift giving, or as a gift to yourself.  This year’s kits include: Mandala Dot Ornaments, Stenciled Wooden Ornaments, and Macramé Cinnamon Stick Ornaments.  Purchase at the library or through our online portal Commit Change starting November 22.
