Creator-In-Residence

Are you a skilled creative person who enjoys working with all ages, and want to share your creative process with others? Apply to become Kaukauna Public Library’s first Creator-in-Residence, sponsored by Bank of Kaukauna.

Who is a Creator?

A Creator can be anyone!  We are looking for people who are makers, crafters, artists, musicians, writers, or woodworkers.

What will the Creator-in-Residence do?

Through this position the Kaukauna Public Library aims to connect community members with one another and a unique artistic point of view.  The Creator-in-Residence program is seeking an individual to create and share their work and help library patrons explore a creative pursuit through open office hours, workshops, and displays.

Residency runs from June 13th 2022 – August 5th 2022.  Resident can expect to spend 3-5 hours teaching, 6-10 hours preparing for workshops, and 2-3 hours in optional drop in work time.

The Creator-in-Residence program is made possible thanks to our community partner and sponsor, The Bank of Kaukauna, an active supporter of local arts and culture programs and initiatives in our community.  Creators will receive a $500 stipend and up to $250 in reimbursement for supplies used for workshops and personal projects. All workshops will be offered to the public for free.
