Fiction & Nonfiction Materials

DVDs, Blu-Rays, & CDs

Our collection contains many movies and tv shows in DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K resolution. We also have CD's for all ages in a variety of music genres.

E-Books & E-Audiobooks

You can download e-books and e-audiobooks from Overdrive and Libby. Both services have an app that can work with Android and Apple devices.

Audiobooks on CD & Playaways

Our collection contains audiobooks on CD for listeners of all ages. We also have battery powered Playaway devices that only require a pair of headphones to listen.

Video Games

Our collection contains games for the Wii, WiiU, Switch, DS, 3DS, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and soon Xbox Series X and Playstation 5.

Magazines & Newspapers

Our collection contains physical magazines and newspapers. You may read the newspapers in the library and may check magazines out. RB Digital provides access to e-magazines.

Public Internet Access Computers

We offer access to 12 adult, 8 teen, and 4 child computers complete with internet access, the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and more.

Wireless Internet

We offer Wireless Internet (WiFi) access throughout the building and in our Interactive Learning Garden. Connect to LibraryGuest when you arrive, no password needed.

One-on-one Technology Help

We offer one-on-one help sessions for any topic related to general technology questions, unemployment assistance, applying for jobs, and creating resumes and cover letters.

Photocopies

We offer black and white (b&w) and color copies. Prices for 8.5 x 11 are $0.10 for b&w, and $0.25 for color copies. Prices for 11 x 14 are $0.15 for b&w and $0.50 for color.

Fax Service

We can fax documents at a rate of $0.50 cents per page. We can also accept faxes at the same rate. Average wait time for a confirmation page is between 3 to 6 minutes.

Document Laminating

We can laminate documents up to 11" X 17" in size. $1 for 8.5" sheets and $2 for 11" X 17". Ask at the front desk and staff will be happy to assist you.

Meeting Rooms

We offer a variety of meeting spaces at the library. You can reserve meeting Room ABC, a large room that can be split into three smaller ones, a board room, and four study rooms.

Teacher Packs

If you are a teacher or educator you can request a pack of books for your class on a wide variety of subjects. We also offer teacher cards to educators with more lenient lending rules.

Field Trips

You can schedule a field trip for your class with one of our librarians to receive a tour of the library and check out books. We offer 30 minute visits for 3/4K and 60 minute visits otherwise.

Local History Resources

At your request, our Local Historian will look up a local history topic of your choice and send you the information. Copy and postage do apply. Scanning and email is free.

Microfilm Digital Reader

You are welcome to call us to reserve a time to use our microfilm digital reader to review the Kaukauna Sun and Kaukauna Times Newspapers dating back to 1890.

Wireless Hotspots (Borrow The Internet)

We have 10 wireless hotspots available to be checked out for a week at a time. You may renew them up to 3 times if nobody is waiting for them.

Remote Printing

Instructions on remote printing can be found by clicking the printer icon above. You will need to call or stop by the library to release the print job. Standard printing fees apply.

Notary Public

Our Notary Public is not available at all times of day. Please call ahead and we would be happy to inform you if they are available or schedule a time for you to come in.

Proctoring

We have librarians on staff qualified to proctor exams in our private study rooms. Please call ahead to schedule a time for proctoring at 920-766-6340.

Little Free Pantry

We accept donations of non-perishable foods and hygiene items year round to stock the pantry. Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we sometimes get large donations.

Free Winter Clothing Rack

WE accept donations of new and gently used winter gear including snowpants, boots, hats, mittns, coats, scarves, and more. The rack can be found just inside the lobby of the library.

Homebound Book Delivery

We offer the delivery of library materials to your door if you are homebound. You can request specific materials or ask us to curate a book bundle for you based on your preferences.

Preschool Play Area

The Library offers an interactive preschool play area for our friends five and under, no exceptions. Shoes may not be worn on the play mat and socks are required for play.

Interactive Learning Garden

The Interactive Garden at the Kaukauna Public Library opened its gates on October 4, 2019 after five years of planning. It is open daily from 5:00a-11:00p.

School Supply Drive

The library will accept donations for school supplies between June 1st and August 11th. The school supply drive will be held on August 12th.
