Frequently Asked Questions

Remember, everybody can participate using the paper tracker or on the Beanstack website/app.  You can read and complete challenges any time from June 7 to August 20.  Lots of kids are worried that they might miss something if they go on vacation for a couple of weeks, or because they are busy with summer school, sports, other activities, or jobs – don’t worry- we will have all the prizes until August 20, so that gives you plenty of time to finish the program.  You can complete activities in any order and collect your prizes anytime too. The prize drawing will take place on August 23 and winners will be notified on Monday, August 23.

What if you can’t get to the library?

The great thing about Beanstack and the online program is that it keeps track of all of your prizes for you! You can enter the grand prize drawings right through Beanstack.  When you are ready, visit the library to collect your prizes – you can come in every week or two, or all at once– you don’t have to come on certain dates or each week, you can come to the library to collect prizes when you can get to us.  Just be sure to pick up your prizes by August 20.

What about programs and events?

We have lots of fun events happening this summer. We will return to in person programming, with some new restrictions in place, keeping health and safety recommendations in mind, while following all City, County, and State orders. Many events will require registration as space is limited. Visit the Events calendar for more details.  Each week, visit the library to grab a Take & Make activity kit, walk through Downtown to read a book on our new Story Stroll, or attend a monthly Storybook Walk at 1000 Islands Environmental Center.

To see what’s happening at the library, visit our online calendar, follow us on Facebook , or view/print the Summer Event Guide.

Outdoor programs are weather dependent. Follow the Kaukauna Public Library on Facebook for updates.  You can also find our videos of past storytimes and programs on YouTube .
