Becoming Geppetto Film Screening

Local Hollandtown resident Bruce Petros and his son Matt are renowned master acoustic guitar builders. Their guitars have been played around the world by music giants like Paul Simon. Becoming Geppetto documents their guitar making process from hobby to successful business, with some musical performances along the way played on their guitars.  Bruce Petros will be present at the event and will participate in a Q & A with participants after the film screening. The documentary has been submitted to film festivals around the world. It won the Jury’s Choice Award at the 2021 Green Bay Film Festival, was the Official Selection of the 2021 Wisconsin Film Festival and was a Semifinalist at the 2021 Boden International Film Festival in Sweden.
