Save the date for Fairy Walk!
The Kaukauna Public Library and 1,000 Islands Nature Center present the seventh annual Fairy Walk, August 23rd from 10am-7pm. Families are invited to explore various activities at their own pace at the time that works best for them. The event includes a dragonfly themed Storybook Walk on the boardwalk, the Fairy House Walk in the butterfly garden, a fairy scavenger hunt along the walking trail, sidewalk art, crafts, music and bubbles, and more! By registering in advance for a visit time, families receive a Fairy Walk Swag bag, available to the first 300 families. This fun event is free thanks to our generous sponsors!
Families can submit a fairy house built of only natural materials prior to the event. Participants at the event then enjoy a stroll in the butterfly garden to see and vote for their favorite fairy house. The winner of the competition will receive a Heart of the Valley Chamber Bucks gift certificate and themed prize pack that evening when the winner is announced at 7:15p at the event and on Facebook Live.
